Pretty little shawl for everyday wear.
An uncomplicated knit for the uncomplicated knitter. Rustic Simplicity is designed to use one skein of your favourite yarn. A lean triangle, knit sideways and on the bias, it highlights a delightful scalloped edge.
Yarn: 442yd /404 m fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in Fitch by Quince and Co, in Clay.
Needle Size: US size 6 / 4 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts
Notions: Tapestry needle to weave in ends
Gauge: 20 sts = 4” (10cm) in Garter Stitch (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements)
Finished Measurements: 71” /180 cm x 10”/ 25.5cm Gently blocked.
Easily adjustable so that you can use the most of your yarn.
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Abbreviations:
CO- cast on
BO Bind off
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit 2 sts together
Kfb- knit into the front and back of 1 stitch
Skpo- Slip 1 st, knit the next st, pass slipped stitch over the knit stitch.
RS- right side
WS- wrong side
Rep- repeat
