Rupert is a huggable reindeer with a squishy grey nose. Knitted in stockinette, this reindeer is worked in acrylic yarns so it is easier to keep clean after play. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Rupert is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a stitch holder, and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 34cm tall measured from toes to top of antlers.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
