This Run Wild Tote works up beautifully with great texture. You can start with a round base or a rectangular base, and the body is a simple 2-round repeat! I have used worsted weight yarn and a J (6.0MM) hook, and testers have made it in variegated cake yarn, and it’s beautiful! I have updated the pattern to include a simple basket option in 3 sizes as well!

Stitching
The tote is made from the bottom up with two options: from a round base, or from a rectangular base on both sides of a starting chain in joined rounds. The stitch pattern ensures great texture! Basic stitches are used and defined in the pattern.
