This is a gorgeous vest, my husband’s very favorite (which is why I’ve made it 3 times for him). It came out beautifully in Classic Elite Tapestry as well as Jamieson’s Aran weight wool. I am sure any smooth worsted or Aran weight will work. You will want to show off the deep cables.
The vest calls for cabling nearly every right side row, which can be a bit hard on the hands at times but the results are worth it. It is rated easy to knit by Reynolds.
