Rufflette
Sizes:
Finished bust measurement: 34” (38, 42, 46, 50”)
This pattern is designed with 2” or less of ease at the bust.
Description from MagKnits.com:
I highly recommend swatching and full blocking before you begin. My swatch grew immensely after blocking! You may need to go up or down a needle size in order to get gauge. I also recommend swatching the ruffle, so that you can make sure that your bind off is loose enough for your liking. I used larger needles for the cast on and cast-off, to make sure that they weren’t so tight as to inhibit full blocking.
(1 pattern repeat is approximately 1” wide and .6” high)
This sweater is a dream to wear, and surprisingly easy to knit, with only a three row repeat! The Kidsilk Night adds a wisp of warmth and a shot of glitz to what ever you are wearing. Throw it over your jeans and a tee for instant style, or with a gown for drop-dead gorgeousness!
The body is knit in one piece up to the where it is divided for the armholes. It is worked back and forth on circular needles in order to accommodate the width of the piece. After the shoulder seams are joined, stitches are picked up around the entire edge of the piece (neck back, sides, center fronts, and bottom edge) and worked circularly. The sleeves are knit from the wrist up, with stitches for the ruffle picked up and knitted at the end.
