Ruffles and Ridges Wrap
This wrap is knit in garter stitch and the ruffles are created using short rows. The sample was knit using fingering weight yarn, but you can use other weights as well.
Gauge is not important -- you want a fabric that is nicely firm and not too loose.
The sample knit for the pattern has the following dimensions:
Length: 68” along top edge, lightly steam blocked
Depth: 11.5” at center back, lightly steam blocked
The pattern includes:
Modifications for knitting this design by weight of your skein so you can use the entire skein of yarn.
Modifications for making this design a triangular shawlette that comes to a point at the center rather than a long wrap with a gently curved bottom edge.
