Ruffles is a bottom-up sweater, knitted flat, with 2 ruffles added using a 3-needle joining technique (instructions are included in the written pattern and on jojoknits.com under ‘helpful hints and techniques’). You will need two US size 8 circular needles (24 inch worked well) to complete the body and 5 double points also size 8 to work the ruffled sleeves. The small sweater has a finished chest measurement of 13 inches, the medium’s chest measures 17.5 inches. You will need about 275 yards of yarn for the size medium. That is my girl Tabby in the picture. The sweater color is Lavender (it looks a little blue in the picture).
