Ruffle Dress is a simple dress featuring a ruffle on the yoke and a wide skirt. It is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. The dress can be knit with or without sleeves - a Merino version with sleeves for fall and winter, and a Cotton Merino or Pure Silk version without sleeves for spring and summer for example, would be lovely.
You start working back and forth to create the keyhole opening at back neck and then continue in the round. The optional sleeves are worked in the round from the top down. Stitches are picked up around the yoke for the ruffle and the ruffle subsequently worked in the round. Skirt length and sleeve length can easily be adjusted.
