Many of us who spin don’t always spin yarns destined for a specific knitting project, and we often produce less than sweater quantities of a particular yarn. I designed this ruana as a canvas to show off a variety of handspun yarns in one project. A commercial yarn served as the main color, to provide a unifying and consistent background against which to show off five different handspun yarns. You can knit the entire ruana using handspun yarns, though, or in any combination of commercial and handspun yarn that suits you; it’s a great stashbuster!
