Rosy Maple Moth
Sometimes, during the first hours of the night, you might see a small pink being fly around the beautiful Maple trees, but don’t be scared, it’s just our friend the Rosy Maple Moth.
Rosy Maple Moth (Dryocampa rubicunda) is the smallest of the silk moths. Don’t be fooled by their size though, their bright pink and yellow body will make sure you notice them!
The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Rosy Maple Moth measures approx. 15.5cm (6.1in), when using the same yarn/tools indicated below.
