This rather adventurous scarf is actually very easy to make. with matched increases and decreases at the selvedges, the parallellogram develops with very little effort. I can just see Rosie wearing something futuristic like this to a Robot Ball or maybe shopping with Mrs. J.

With simple patterning on both sides, you’ll be wearing this to your own ball or out to the market in no time. Feel free to customize the length of your scarf by leaving out a repeat or making the bands more narrow.

Yarn: 2 Skeins Teresa Ruch Designs 3/2, Tencel, 312 yards, 100% Tencel, in Steel Blue and Rosie’s Metal

Needle: US 3 (3.25 mm) Signature circulars or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 5.7 stitches per inch (spi) and 7 rows per inch (rpi) OR 23 stitches & 28 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: 95 inches from tip to tip, 11 inches from neck edge to widest point

To alter the size: Add or subtract repeats of the chart OR adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the length of the scarf as needed.
