Roses, Roses Scarf or Wrap
gauge lace version 21 st to 4 in on 3.5mm needles
yardage lace version 1350m
I love to knit lace, and bead lace, and work lace in many weights. In this pattern the scarf in worked in a beautiful fingering weight yarn and the shawl in a lace weight yarn. These two pieces share common elements that are combined in different ways. Both pieces are heavily beaded with sizer 8/0 beads.
The focus is on edges and edgings; elements in the lace and edgings are either highlighted with beads or as with the shawl, beads and colour changes.
Beads of course could be omitted.
There are links in the pattern to photo tutorials including: provisional cast-on: attaching an edging; and many links to various beading techniques.
Indulge in the intricate beauty of the Roses, Roses Scarf or Wrap knitting pattern. With detailed instructions and charts, this pattern is perfect for experienced knitters looking to challenge their skills.
