Roses, Picots, & Pearls Snowdrops
Roses, Picots, & Pearls Snowdrops are the most recent in a long line of “annual snowflakes from Michelle” that everyone on my Christmas list looks forward to each December. Though a little large for putting in Christmas cards, these six elegant Snowdrops, made with size 10 white/pearl or colored metallic crochet cotton, add sparkle to holiday fashions, packages, or décor – or as sun-catchers year round! Each requires between 10 - 13 yards of crochet cotton, and measures approximately 3-1/4” across when finished.
Experimenting with different colors and textures of thread can totally change the look of your ornaments. For the “stained glass look” pictured, I used Universal Yarn Nazli Gelin Garden Metallic Crochet Thread in Red/Red, Green/Green, Royal/Royal, and White/Silver, and Aunt Lydia’s Metallic 10 White/Pearl.
The “Roses, Picots, & Pearls” pattern set is available as an electronic download, but if you prefer, a print-on-demand version can be ordered exclusively from http://www.treasuredheirloomscrochet.com/e-rose-snowdrops...
