Rose's Guilty Pleasure
When I raided my stash for “Lady Mary’s Lace,” I came across those two skeins of Bittersweet Woolery’s “Guilty Pleasures Sock yarn” - one skein of “Orchid”, one skein of “Little Miss.” Purchased two years ago at Rhinebeck and hoarded ever since, waiting for just the right shawl… They were not what I wanted for Lady Mary, but somehow I could not put them away. It was Lady Rose, cousin to Mary, Edith and Sybil – she was feeling left out – “No shawl for ME?” The colors of those two skeins would be lovely on her, and finally I decided that three shawls in the group were not enough. Rose needed a shawl of her own. And so, the time has come for those two skeins, therefore we have:
