Roselyn Hat
Finished Measurements:
Circumference: 19”- 21” /48cm - 53 cm
Heigth: 8.5”-10”/21,5cm – 25 cm after blocking
Yarn:
160 (205) yards of DK or worsted weight yarn
Needles:
U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) needle, straight or cirucular
U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needle
U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) double point needles
Optional: Size F (3.5 mm) crochet hook if using crochet cast-on method
Gauge:
20 sts/4” in garter stitch on smaller sized needles after blocking
Notions:
1 ring stitch marker, 1 locking stitch marker, 1 button (size 1 – 1.25” in diameter)
Pattern Notes:
Use your preferred cast-on method, but the permanent crochet cast-on results in a pretty edge that looks like a crochet chain.
The garter stitch band is knit on smaller sized needles and is folded over with a button attached to it. While working the hat, it helps to place a locking stitch marker where the button will be sewn to have the band form a closed ring.
