The Tea Collection Vol II by Clare Devine
This hat is part of The Tea Collection Vol II - a collection of 12 hats inspired by the glorious tea selection at Pekoe Tea in Edinburgh. The full collection can be viewed HERE.
Sweet refreshing rosebuds …
That tiny rosebud slowly begins to open, petals gently unfurl to reveal the magnificent bloom in all its glory. As each flower opens the air is filled with the sweet perfume of roses and the splendid summer days seem to stretch out forever.
Sometimes I really enjoy immersing myself in my knitting, watching the pattern emerge as I work and finding joy in the details. This hat is a celebration of the details, the glorious twisted rib, the little smocked stitches and that fantastic crown. This is the knitting that makes my heart sing.
Inspired by the little pink Rose Buds added to many of the glorious blends of tea at Pekoe Tea in Edinburgh.
