Errata: From a pattern user: the quadruple decrease (charted as a point-up triangle on page 116; written as sl2, k3tog, p2sso) isn’t centered. To make a centered quadruple decrease, work instead as sl3, k2tog, p3sso.

Summary: Lace doily using rose and leaf motifs.

Materials:

  • Tea Cloth - 4 balls of Crochet Cotton No. 60, or 3 oz. of Linen Thread No. 60.
  • Dinner Cloth - 12 balls of Crochet Cotton No. 60, or 10 oz. of Linen thread No. 60.
  • Four double pointed knitting needles No. 12, length 7 in.
  • One circular knitting needle No. 12, length 24 in. and one circular knitting needle No. 12, length 36 in., or bettern 42 in.
  • One cotton Crochet Hook No. 5.

Sizes:

  • Tea Cloth - 36” (91 cm) diameter, Rows: 152 , Stitches: ca. 80860
  • Dinner Cloth - 72” (183 cm) diameter

Sold by some vendors as “lace baby christening shawl” or as rose window
