Rose Garden is designed for Handwerken zonder Grenzen, a Dutch magazine for needlework in cooperation with Wol met Verve (www.wolmetverve.nl) , a Dutch studio for hand dyed yarn.

Rose Garden is a sweater with a relaxed fit. Perfect for winter with some extra layers. It looks beautiful paired with jeans but also good with a skirt or dress because of the little bit cropped body.
The sweater is worked from top to bottom with the neckline shaped with short rows. The yoke has an easy fair isle design. After the yoke the sleeves are set aside and the body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. After finishing the body, the sleeves are worked in the round with a nice fair isle design before the border.

Yarn: Wol met Verve, Vigorous DK, 100% merino (Superwash) 230 m/ 115 g.
The amount of yarn is just an estimate. It depends on modifications either on body and/or sleeve length.
Main colour (MC): about 345 (400, 460, 500)(575, 600, 690)gr .
3 contrast colours (CC), 50 gr each.

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rnds to 10 cm/ 4 inch in stockinette stitch in the round on needle 4 mm or the needle that gives the right gauge.

Rozentuin is speciaal ontworpen voor Handwerken zonder Grenzen in samenwerking met Wol met Verve.

De Rozentuin trui is een ruim vallende trui. Heerlijk in de winter met wat laagjes extra er onder. Staat prachtig op een jeans maar zeker zo goed op een rok of over een jurk omdat hij niet te lang is en aansluit op de heupen waardoor het een elegante look heeft.
De trui wordt van boven naar onderen gebreid met verkorte toeren om de hals te vormen. De pas is in eenvoudig fair isle patroon. Na de pas worden de mouwen apart gezet en wordt het lijf verder in het rond gebreid in tricot steek. Voor de boord wordt geminderd zodat deze mooi op de heupen valt. Nadat het lijf klaar is worden de mouwsteken terug op de naald gezet en in het rond gebreid in tricot steek tot de pols.
