Rose, Bea, Mary Clutches
On my wedding day my sister gave me the most beautiful clutch I have ever seen. She said it was my grandmother’s and she carried it on her wedding day, and asked if I wanted to on mine. I immediately took it with eyes watering. I have carried it to every wedding I have attended since, bringing along a little love and family with me. My grandmothers all were incredibly talented crafty women and each of these granny squares remind me a bit about each one of them. I know one day I will be passing on my wedding clutch to my daughter or my niece, so I have been planning my own clutch to replace it for a while. Even though it is not the original I know that their spirit will be with me in anyone of these granny square purses since it was them that inspired me to craft.
