Ropewalk is a top-down sock with bands of texture reminiscent of ropes. In my part of the world, east coast of England, fishing and its paraphernalia are abundant. This sock is a gent le knit with an easy textured pattern at intermittent intervals for an interesting knit

Scheepjes Downtown (50g; 200m (219yds); 75% extrafine merino, 25% nylon) 4ply / fingering; colour 403 Leafy Suburb
For 24cm (9 ½”) foot length

GAUGE
36 stitches by 50 rounds= 10cm (4”) in stocking stitch. Check your gauge.
NEEDLES & ACCESSORIES
2.25 mm (US Size 1) needles for working in the round; either DPNs, long circular needle or preferred method for circular knitting; or size to obtain gauge
