CONSTRUCTION

• Piece is worked flat, beginning with the center top and continuing down to the bottom edges.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

• 41” wingspan, 20” height at spine after blocking

SIZES

• Kerchief Size (instructions included in pattern for expanding this size for a larger finished piece)

GAUGE

• 4.25 stitches per inch in Stockinette Stitch, before blocking
• 3.5 stitches per inch in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking

NEEDLES

• One 32” circular needle in size needed to obtain pattern gauge
• Suggested Size: US 9 (5.5mm)

YARDAGE

• Approximately 245 yards of worsted-weight wool yarn
• Additional yardage will be required for working additional repeats of pattern to expand finished size
