The rectangular shape starts out with a cool zig zag border knitted sideways, from which you then pick up stitches and knit upwards. In all there are seven stitch patterns to keep you happily occupied.

The many kits have plenty of variety in colors, types of yarns. The feel is wonderfully soft and comfortable and it wouldn’t surprise me if this became one of your favorite shawls to wear.

The pattern is fully written and also offers charts. The blocked size is 77” in length and 16^ in height.

Two skeins of Organic cotton, 125 yards each in a DK weight.
Two midi skeins of Darlon, 80 yards each in a sport weight antibacterial dralon.
A midi skein in a super soft Polyamide, 80 yards in a slightly textured sport weight.
A midi skein of a textured thick and thin cotton, 80 yards in a light fingering weight.
A midi skein of a spray painted yarn. Yes, spray painted! 65 yards in a very cool fingering weight with a cotton and metallic Lurex combo.

Notions needed:
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) in length
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing
Techniques used: Knitting, purling, lace knitting, picking up stitches moving into a different direction, color changes, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.

Gauge: 8 sts and 12 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch.
