Roly-Poly Kitty
This pattern is
available for free.
This adorable Roly-Poly Kitty is a purr-fect project for experienced knitters who would like to make a cute toy to gift to a loved one or to themselves. It’s also a fun feline friend for the Roly-Poly Bunny.
The head and body of the kitty are worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. The paws are worked seamlessly in the round, like an afterthought thumb or heel. The toy is knit at a tight gauge and should be stuffed firmly to help create its rotund shape. The ears are worked flat in double knitting and then sewn to the head. The face and paw details are embroidered. The tail is an I-cord. The kitty can easily be customized depending on the yarns or ribbon used.
