“Magic Loop’s” hand dyed yarns with their wonderfully saturated hues were the inspiration for “Roksolana”.

Crescent-shaped shawls are always versatile, but this long-stretched narrow version, ideal for draping around the neck, makes this classic shape even better.

The combination of stitch patterns, including slipped stitches and a cheerful pebble pattern, interspersed with relaxing garter stitch, looks especially well in bright hues on a neutral background.

“Roksolana” was designed in collaboration with Magic Loop.

Materials:
* Magic Loop KolorLove (80% Merino, 20% Nylon): 50g/ 230 yards [210 meters] – 2 colors: 3 skeins or approximately 600 yards [550 meters] in color 1 (C1) and 3 skeins or approximately 680 yards 620 meters in color 2 (C2). The sample is made in colorways: “Sorbet Wisniowy” and “Genuenskie Noce”.

Please note that you will need almost entire 3 skeins of C2 yarn to make this shawl. Check your gauge to make sure you will not run out of yarn.

  • US 2½ – 3 mm 40” [100 cm] circular needles
  • cable needle
  • tapestry needle
