A few years ago, it was through the work of Cécile from La Fée Fil yarns that I discovered with passion the universe of hand-dyed yarns. The love was such that after the road traveled, I have the great happiness today to create a design especially for her yarns. The circle is complete ! I present you the Rock Peak cardigan. A basic, affordable, easy to knit with a nice casual shape that goes as well with a chic outfit as a jeans/tee-shirt/boots combo. The possibilities of variations are endless (neutral or black, for a everyday style, speckled or fluo for colour enthusiasts …)
Rock Peak is built in one piece, from top dow, with raglan sleeves. The shawl collar, loose and comfortable, is knitted at the same time as the body and has a nice textured stitch.

-Colour 2 - C2: 2, 2, 2, (2, 2, 3), 3 skeins) in the Les Hortensias colourway or 512, 567, 682, (796, 853, 909), 988 yards / 474, 520, 624, (728, 780, 832), 904 m of fingering weight yarn

Please note that yardage is estimated and can vary between knitters and also depend of the yarn used.

Suggested needles

-For main fabric: US 5 / 3.75 mm / 32’’ / 80 cm circular needles, or 40’’ / 100 cm or preferred for small circumference knitting (magic loop or double pointed needles).
-For ribbing: US 3 / 3.25 mm / 32’’ / 80 cm circular needles, or 40’’ / 100 cm or preferred for small circumference knitting (magic loop or double pointed needles).

Make sure that your gauge is ok and adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Il y a quelques années, c’est à travers le travail de Cécile des laine La Fée Fil que je découvrais avec passion l’univers des laines teintes à la main. Rock Peak se construit d’une pièce, du haut vers le bas avec des manches raglan. Le col châle, ample et confortable, se tricote en même temps que le corps et arbore un joli point texturé.
