I dreamt up the idea for Riverside while walking a trail along the Fox River in Appleton, Wisconsin. Simple to knit and wear, it’s a great piece for layering and makes a perfect project for any level of knitter.

Riverside is knit in the round from the bottom up. Beginning with simple 2x2 ribbing, the body alternates between an easily memorized eyelet section and a couple of garter rows before finishing with a bit more ribbing.

Barrett Wool Co. Home is a heavier fingering weight yarn closer to a sport weight; keep this in mind when substituting yarns.
