River is worked in one piece from the top down, in the round, with raglan and waist shaping. A simple stripe pattern is worked over ¾ of the body of the sweater using rounds of purl stitches. Rib trims at the bottom and sleeve cuffs add fit and are an interesting contrast to the horizontal stripes. Optional buttons are added along one raglan line as an asymmetrical detail. Worked in Osprey with ¾ length sleeves, this is a very quick knit.
