Riven
Save 40% on each pattern in Vol. 1: Water when you buy the full collection, available here
Hidden purls in the cables of Riven crack open at each cable cross, revealing a deep dimensionality and fluidity in this unique braid. The flanking rib sections transition into a waterfall-like rope cable at the start of the crown, echoing this motif.
The hat is worked circularly from the bottom up, first working a fold-up ribbed brim, then a repeating cable chart that seamlessly transitions into the crown. The cable pattern is provided in both written and charted form.
