This knitted cowl looks great in variegated yarn. A scrunched stitch pattern that folds and pleats knitted fabric gives a simple cowl lush, tactile dimension. (Interweave)
Finished Size: 24” circumference, buttoned, and 8” high.
Yarn: Riverside Studio by Kathryn Drysdale Superwash Merino/Nylon Sock (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon; 420 yd [384 m]/4 oz [115 g]): into the woods, 1 skein.
Yarn Weight: #4 - Medium
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Notions: One double-pointed needle (dpn) at least two sizes smaller than main needle; tapestry needle; three 1-1/4” buttons.
Gauge: 27 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Scrunch patt.
