All of my garments are #sizeinclusive through a bust size of 62” including the intended ease in the design.

I recommend 9-15”/23-38cm of negative ease for the bralette. Detailed guidelines for choosing a size are included in the pattern.

Suggested Yarn:

Modus Operandi Fibers Silky DK, Single Ply DK, 252yd/100g 40% Baby Alpaca, 40% Merino, 20% Silk

Modus Operandi Fibers Worsted, 4 Ply Worsted Weight, 218yd/100g, 100% SW Merino

Some testers had trouble achieving gauge with DK weight yarn, even after sizing up with needles. If you are a tight knitter or want a denser fabric, I suggested using a heavier worsted weight than DK.

Suggested Needles: US 3 – 3.25 mm circular needles (band)
US 6 – 4.0 mm circular needles (body)
If you’re not using magic loop, choose a circumference that is several inches shorter than the final circumference of the garment.

Gauge:
17 sts per 4” in 1x1 twisted rib (hem, row gauge not relevant)
16 sts & 26 rows per 4x4” square in 3x3 ribbing (main body)

(Note: Gauge measured blocked and unstretched. Measuring gauge in ribbing isn’t an exact science, as it is very stretchy. If you can get close to gauge while stretching it a tiny bit, that’s fine. However, if you’re nervous and just can’t decide if your swatch is 4”, size up in needles and try to swatch again.)

Materials:
DK or worsted weight yarn, circular needles, stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, removable stitch markers, extra needle for 3-needle bind off, darning needle

96-150 (108-204, 127-231, 160-257, 182-289){231-356, 261-381, 290-395, 330-436}400-450, 425-500yds

Techniques:
old Norwegian cast on, knitting in the round, bottom up, decreasing, holding stitches, i-cord, 3-needle bind off

Construction:
The piece is worked from the bottom up until the underarm. Stitches are bound off for the underarms and back, and then the front is worked flat. Each side of the front is worked separately, including a strap for each side which upon completion is connected to the back with a 3-needle bind off.
