Rilievo shawl
DESCRIPTION
This triangular shawl draws inspiration from the architectural surfaces and classical art. Its name, Rilievo, honours the Italian tradition of sculptural forms that rise subtly from stone, reflected through a pattern of soft, structured rectangles.
The scarf is worked seamlessly, back and forth, starting from one end and continuing across the whole width, towards the other end. Increases are made on every right-side row until the midpoint, then they are substituted with decreases on every right-side row to shape the second half of the shawl.
