Right with Town or Country Clothes
Pattern from the 1930s. See page 36.
Description from pattern: “The man who prefers a pullover to a waistcoat will like the neat shaping of this design.
“The pullover that is to replace a waistcoat must be well fitting and unobtrusive. Here is an ideal design for the purpose--plus that “extra little something”--in its clever fancy stitching which will appeal to the young man of today. Grey, grey-blue, and brown are colours which will be likely to tone with several suits, and look equally smart with workaday lounge suits and country tweeds.
“You will require 6 oz of Baldwin & Walker’s 4-ply Ladyship Scottish Fingering and a pair of No. 10 and No. 12 needles.”
(Note: those needle sizes are the old British sizes.)
