My entire design career I have relied on the mantra of “Simplify and then Exaggerate”. This shawl is a prime example of how simple things taken to the extreme can be sophisticated and elegant. Garter stitch stripes worked first in one direction and then in the other while playing with subtle – or strong – color studies make for a fun knit that adds character to any wardrobe.
