Riflessi is a crescent shawl worked sideways featuring various slip stitch patterns that look like the reflections (riflessi in Italian) on the water surface in a sunny day.
The stitch pattern is really easy to work, and the final effect is stunning!
Finished size: Top side 150 cm (60”); depth 57 cm (22.75”).
Yarn
Dark Omen Yarn Merino Plus (100% Merino Superwash, 437.5 yds 400 m/100 g).
MC1: col. Feather, approx 350 yds 320 m.
MC2: col. Blizzard, approx 350 yds 320 m.
CC: col Oblio, approx 328 yds 300 m.
Needles
One 80 cm / 32” (or longer) circular needle for the shawl body and one 60 cm/24” for the border in size needed to obtain gauge.
Suggested needle size: 3.5-4 mm / 4-6 US.
Notions
2 markers A.
5 markers B.
6 markers C.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Gauge
21 stitches and 35 rows = 10x10 cm (4”) in slipped stitch pattern.
(Gauge is not critical for this project).
