The Lazy Wheel made me think of the shell form. I’ve used the principle of its construction to create an abstract nautilian motif for the 2016 IFFG Sea Shell C/KAL.

You may use any hook/yarn combination you choose.
The shells shown are light worsted weight wool (Cascade 220 Superwash in Caribbean) using an E/3.5mm crochet hook. The green ones are aran weight acrylic (Caron
soft sage).
