Ribby Tee
This sweet and simple little sweater was designed with fairly new knitters in mind. What better time to pick up knitting than when you have a new little person to knit for! Working in the round and using a clever bind-off eliminate the need for sewing seams, so this one can practically go right from the needles onto the child. There are three sizes included.
Knitting level is just beyond beginner, and there is more than the usual amount of explanation of technique, and fewer unexplained abbreviations. You will need to know the 3-needle bind-off, which is explained in so many other reference books and online sources, that it is not included in the pattern.
Pattern notes: The 6-12 month size sweater pictured was knit with the 16” circular needle, and the stitches fit, slightly stretched. If you prefer, a 12” circular or set of double-pointed needles may be used for the body of the smallest size.
The largest size used exactly one entire skein of the Dream in Color Classy, but the skein weighed more than 4 oz, hence the seeming discrepancy in the yardage requirements.
