Ribbon Stitch Toddler Bib and Washcloth Set
Who says mealtime has to be boring! This bright bib and washcloth set will bring a smile to the face of even the pickiest eater. Worked in a simple slip stitch pattern, it’s quick to knit, and so soft in organic cotton yarn.
Materials
Needles: US 6 and 7: straight or circular
Yarn: Two 2.5 oz skeins of cotton yarn. Lily Sugar and Cream was used in this sample. With the two skeins of yarn, you will be able to make one bib and several washcloths. You could also make two bibs if you switched CA and CB around. The actual yardage of the bib is 85 yards of CA and 25 yards of CB. The actual yardage for the washcloth is 12 yards of CA and 32 yards of CB.
Notions: One 7/8” button, sewing needle, matching thread
Gauge: 4.75 to 5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch with US 6 needles.
