Ribbons of colour appear to thread through this cowl which is knitted in the round using a simple slip stitch pattern. This makes it lovely and warm and the eight shades of Batik yarn used for the ribbons make it colourful too.

You could also knit this pattern with other yarns, using leftover scraps for the ribbons.
