Revolution Watch Cap
This pattern was originally from Rib Magazine and is now re-issued as a Ravelry pattern.
The ideal yarn is a smooth, solid-color, worsted-spun wool that is 300 meters in 100g to emphasize the textures.
The Revolution Watch Cap is a sampler designed to introduce the knitter to sequence knitting. Every round of this briliant design uses the same stitch sequence, but through variations in the number of stitches, the fabric transforms.

Notes
Because this pattern is an introduction to sequence knitting, we have included notes throughout the pattern to guide your work and to help you understand how each section affects the fabric.
It is possible to fine tune the fit of the given sizes by adjusting the needle size down to US 2 / 2.75 mm or up to US 3 / 3.25 mm.
As with any textured knitting, use a yarn that is well suited to showing off texture. The yarn used for the sample comes in clean solids and has a round shape for good stitch definition. When the sequence is written in square brackets (e.g., k3, p3), repeat the sequence again and again.
