Finished Measurements
The Snowman is about 5-inches tall including the folded over hat.
The Tree is about 4-inches tall.
Yarn
Wisconsin Woolen Spun Fingering Weight (100% American Wool; 450 yards / 100 grams) in the following colorways, Forest (dark forest green), Birch (creamy white), Jam (red), Penny (heathered gold), Stone (heathered brown and gray).
Samples used:
Snowman - Birch (creamy white)
Hat and Scarf - Jam (red)
Carrot Nose - Penny (heathered gold)
Stick Arms and Coal Buttons (embroidered) - Stone (heathered brown and gray)
The Snowman used about 8 grams of Birch. The Hat and Scarf used about 6 grams of Jam. The Carrot Nose and Stick Arms and Coal Buttons use maybe a yard of each of Penny and Stone.
Tree - Forest
Garland - Penny (heathered gold)
Ornaments (bobbles) - Jam (red)
The tree used about 10 grams of Forest. The ornaments used about 8 grams of Jam. The garland used about a couple of yards of Penny.
Needles
US size 3 / 3.25mm or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge
7 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch

5mm safety eyes - Please note that safety eyes are considered a choking hazard for babies and young children. If this is a concern do not use them. Embroider eyes with French knots.
