Reversible Broomstick Granny Square
A reversible granny square combining broomstick lace sections with open spaces arranged in a checkerboard-inspired layout.
The square can be worked in one or two colors. Both sides are usable, with a different appearance on each side.
The pattern can be adapted to almost any yarn or thread, and additional rounds can be added to create a larger motif.
The pattern includes:
- detailed written instructions
- step-by-step photographs
- a decorative joining method for assembling the squares
The squares can be used individually or combined to create shawls, wraps, garments, accessories, bags, cushions, wall hangings and other creative textile projects.
I originally created this design for International Granny Square Day in 2018 (#grannysquareday2018).
Bonus included
A complimentary Naturofils crochet pattern is included with your download, along with access to additional creative content.
