About the pattern:
Reversed Sweater is a classic, oversized v-neck sweater with a twist. It’s worked top down with the purl stitches of the stockinette stitch facing out, and has lots of neat details that makes the design really special and unique. First off you cast on stitches for the neck to work the back, back and forth, while you shape it with increases along both sides. Then you work the back down to the armholes before you put the sts for the back on hold to work on the front.

You pick up and knit sts along the slanted shoulders at the back to work the front shoulders back and forth, while you begin to shape the v-neck at the front with increases. Once you’ve worked the front down to the armholes, you’ll join the front with the back, and continue to work the body back and forth until the v-neck shaping is finished. You’ll then cast on sts for the bottom of the neckline and begin to work the body in the round. You’ll now turn your work so that you’ll work the sweater from the WS, so you mainly have to knit the body. The body is then finished off with a wide ribbed, split hem at the bottom.

The sleeves are completely worked from the WS so that you’re able to knit them in the round in stockinette stitch, and still get the purl sts on the RS. The sleeves are also finished off with a wide ribbed edge. Lastly you pick up and knit sts along the v-shaped neckline to finish it off with a matching ribbed edge.

Beskrivning:
Reversed Sweater är en klassisk, oversized v-ringad tröja med en twist. Den stickas uppifrån och ner med avigsidan av slätstickningen utåt, och har många fina detaljer som gör designen unik i sitt uttryck. Först lägger du upp maskor för nacken och stickar bakstycket fram och tillbaka, samtidigt som det formas med ökningar längs båda sidor. Därefter stickas bakstycket ner till ärmhålen, där maskorna sätts på paus medan framstycket stickas.

Du plockar upp maskor längs de snedställda axlarna på bakstycket för att forma framstyckets axlar, och sedan formas v-ringningen mot mitt fram med ökningar. När framstycket är stickat ner till ärmhålen, sammanfogas det med bakstycket och bålen stickas fram och tillbaka tills v-ringningen är färdig. Därefter lägger du upp maskor för nederkanten av halsringningen och börjar sticka bålen runt. Här vänds nu arbetet så att tröjan stickas från avigsidan, vilket innebär att du mestadels stickar räta maskor. Bålen avslutas med en bred, ribbstickad mudd med slits längs sidorna.

Ärmarna stickas helt från avigsidan, så att de kan stickas runt i slätstickning (räta maskor) men ändå få avigsidan utåt. Även de avslutas också med en bred ribbstickad mudd. Avslutningsvis plockar du upp maskor längs den v-formade halsringningen för att sticka en matchande ribbad kant.
