REVERIES is a wonderfully light and soft summer tee with a marvellous drape. Made from pure silk, it is a timeless and elegant garment that is easy to wear and layer.

The cable and eyelet details at the neckline and hem of the body and sleeves add that certain something to this easy-to-work Stockinette project.

REVERIES is worked seamlessly from the top down. You first cast on stitches for the neckband and shape the neckline with short rows. Then you work a circular yoke, split for body and sleeves and cast on a few extra stitches at the underarm for a perfect fit. The body and the sleeves are then worked in the round.

I hope you will enjoy making REVERIES just as much as I did! Happy knitting!

This pattern was professionally tech edited and test knit before the release.
I was not able to find testers for the sizes 15, 17 and 18 though. If you are interested in testing one of these sizes, please send me a message.

CHOOSING A SIZE
REVERIES is intended to be worn with 3 - 6 cm / 1.25 - 2.25 “ of positive ease around the bust.
This means that the garment is supposed to be 3 - 6 cm / 1.25 - 2.25 “ larger than your bust circumference.

Example: Your bust circumference is 97 cm / 38.25 “. Then you should choose size 6.

Pictured is a size 6 on a 97 cm / 38.25 “ bust with 3.5 cm / 1.25 “ of positive ease around the bust.

PLEASE NOTE
The Reveries Tee is designed for a 100% silk yarn. Silk is a type of fiber that gives different results than other fibers such as wool. Compared to wool, silk tends to grow a little after washing and with wearing, whereas wool holds its shape much better. However, silk is a beautiful fiber that is very soft and comfortable to wear - especially when it’s hot outside. It’s perfect for summer garments!
You can knit this tee with both silk and wool (as long as you get exact gauge), but depending on the fiber you use, you will get a different fit: If you work with silk, you will get a loose-fitting Reveries Tee with lots of drape. If you work with wool, you will get a much tighter fit and neckline. You can see some examples on how the fiber type affects the fit of this tee when you look at the projects of my test knitters. I hope this helps!
