Reverie Shawl
A cozy shawl for daydreaming, with meandering sculptured lace and lots of squishy garter stitch, worked in beautiful heathered La Bien Aimee Corrie Worsted yarn. The shawl is knit from one tip to one side edge, with increases made along the right edge, which then becomes the wingspan.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced. Charts are used, with written instructions included.
Size: One size; 72” / 208 cm wingspan, approximately 27” / 69 cm deep at center
Yardage: 750 yds / 686 m double knit or light worsted weight yarn
--Samples pictured used 3 skeins Corrie Worsted
--If using Corrie Confetti, purchasing 4 skeins is recommended due to slight variability in thickness versus Corrie Worsted.
Tools:
--one pair of US 6/4mm needles
--one stitch marker
--tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: 19 sts and 32 rows per 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking. Note: if your gauge is looser, please add an extra skein of yarn.
