Resolute Wrap
Interpretations Vol. 6 is another magical and heartfelt collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki. Like each Volume before, the 6th Volume includes six themes, six words with two designs inspired by each word, showing a personal take on each of these themes.
This year the photo shoot was set in charming Barcelona and we had the honor to have Jonna Hietala taking all the pictures for this book.

At many times in my life, I had to be courageous. I had to sacrifice something to be able to go after something bigger, more important, more meaningful to me.
These times have always been so challenging. I was not born brave, I am a creature of comfort and the temptation to keep what’s known, safe, is sometimes too strong. But I have learnt how to deal with rough decisions and I have always harvested the good that came after them.
To make knitting such an important part of my life was a courageous decision. And it was scary, but I am so lucky I made it.
This wrap is an ode to resolution and courage. With its arrow shape and biased lace, it looks intimidating. But if you try it, I promise its execution won’t disappoint and you’ll end up with a finished shawl that you’ll want to wear with everything.
