Renu
A rectangular scarf worked with alternating lace panels and twisted rib bands to create a lovely texture. The borders are also worked with twisted rib stitches.
The instructions are written for a one skein fingering weight scarf but the pattern can easily be adapted to get a longer or wider scarf / shawl.
Finished Measurements: Length: 50” (126cm), Width: 10” (26cm).
Yarn: 450yds (410m) of fingering weight yarn.
Shown in Riverside Studio (100% Superwash Merino Singles, 462 yds/422m, 115g) in colourway Fog.
Needles: US size 5 (3.75mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: 2 st markers. Lifelines, if required for lace.
Gauge: 27 sts and 26 rows = 4” (10cm) in 1x2 rib after blocking.
41 sts = 6.5” (16cm) width of lace panel.
