Renoir
Inspired by the work of French painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, who was a leading artist in the development of the Impressionist style.
Renoir is a small victorian style capelet with an asymmetrical collar that reveals a hidden froth of lace at the neck and fastens with large pearl buttons. It is shown here in a subtle gradient yarn but is also suitable for solid or semi-solid coloured yarns. The neck of the capelet is constructed first, from which stitches are picked up to create the collar and then the cape.
