Renelle
THIS CURVING shawl by Anniken Allis is knitted in garter stitch, with blocks of colour separated by narrow stripes and lines of eyelets. The patterning forms a line of points along one edge, and the project uses the Russian cast-off method to give a nice stretchy edge which will help when blocking out the points. Anniken has used Hey Mama Wolf’s Beara yarn, a blend of Irish wool and British alpaca which comes in a choice of soft, heathered colours.
