Rendezvous
Rendezvous is a triangle-shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. This time I knit this shawl using light fingering weight yarn that my husband dyed for me.
Pattern includes charts and written directions, and instructions to calculate the stitch count totals for every row. I also include the number of stitches to cast on and the yardage for a different number of repeats.
For the Shawl Kit you can buy it at my website or my etsy store. It’s only USD 29 shipped.
Technical Editor: Chaitanya Muralidhara
Suggested yarn:
Any sock yarn.
I used Rendezvous Yarn 100% Merino Superwash (Burnt Orange color) 1 skein (100g, 490 yards) for 9 repeats (I only had a few yards left over, so I suggest doing 8 repeats if you are not a tight knitter like me).
Gauge: See instruction on the pattern
Yardage needed: See table on the last photo
Finished Size (9 repeats): 55” wide by 26.5” deep
Needle: 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.0 mm (US 6) circular needle, 32” or longer.
Notions: stitch markers (optional)
Level: Advanced
Note: The sample shown and during testing the center st is purl st, however in the final pattern I change to knit st.
