Remember Me Mittens
Mittens warm your hands, and the thought of elephants can warm your heart. These gentle giants have a reputation of strong memories and undisputed kindness in their herds. Knit in a woolen spun yarn for extra warmth and a soft, fuzzy touch, these mittens are sure to thaw the frostiest mornings, even if just a little, and help the knitter and/or wearer spread that warmth of thought. Worked in 2-color stranded colorwork, this smaller project is a great way to experiment with color dominance and contrast. This pattern for mittens includes both fingerless and closed mittens as well as convertible mittens with a button-down flap.
